Saudi Arabia has reinforced its commitment to fair labor practices as the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) and the Human Rights Commission (HRC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote and protect workers’ rights across the Kingdom. The agreement was signed by Minister Ahmed Al-Rajhi and HRC President Hala Al-Tuwaijri.
The MoU focuses on fostering a safe, fair, and transparent work environment by strengthening organizational practices that comply with national labor regulations and approved standards. It aims to ensure justice for all stakeholders in the labor market while enhancing institutional cooperation on key human and social issues.
Aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, the agreement supports labor market development, improves regulatory compliance, and reinforces governance frameworks that safeguard employee rights. Both parties emphasized that the partnership reflects unified national efforts to elevate human rights standards through effective policies and coordinated oversight mechanisms.
