The logistics sector in Saudi Arabia received a major boost today as Saudi Transport Minister Saleh Al-Jasser officially inaugurated the SR611 million (US$165 million) logistics complex developed by Agility Logistics Parks in Jeddah.
Located in the Al-Mahjar district of Jeddah, the complex spans 576,760 sqm with more than 338,000 sqm of built-up area, and includes six Class-A warehouses built to international standards. Intended to serve sectors such as retail, consumer goods, technology, automotive, energy and e-commerce, the facility is positioned just 11 km from Jeddah Islamic Port and 15 km from the city centre.
This development aligns with Saudi Arabia’s ambitions to become a global logistics hub under its National Transport and Logistics Strategy, a key pillar of Vision 2030.
