ZATCA Urges Businesses to File January VAT Returns by Feb 28

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has urged businesses in Saudi Arabia with annual taxable supplies exceeding SAR 40 million to submit their January 2026 VAT returns by February 28, in line with the Kingdom’s VAT regulations.

ZATCA emphasized that VAT returns and payments should be completed through its official website or mobile application to ensure timely compliance. Failure to file within the deadline may result in late penalties ranging from 5% to 25% of the tax due, depending on the delay period.
