The Eastern Region Municipality has finalized 14 investment and development contracts, along with several memoranda of understanding (MoUs), totaling over SAR 5 billion during its participation at Cityscape Global 2025 in Riyadh.
The agreements were signed under the patronage of Eastern Region Mayor Fahad Al-Jubeir, and include major development projects such as the establishment of itinerant vendor incubator sites, supporting small businesses and local commerce development.
A key contract was also signed with center3, the Digital Centers for Data and Telecommunications Company under stc Group, to build advanced digital data centers in the region. This initiative will play a crucial role in enhancing digital infrastructure, accelerating digital transformation, and enabling future smart city capabilities.
These projects form part of the municipality’s ongoing efforts to attract local, Gulf, and international investment, while supporting economic diversification in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
