Saudi Arabia’s Events Investment Fund (EIF) has announced a major milestone under Vision 2030 with the launch of its first landmark project the Riyadh Shooting Range and Entertainment Complex with an investment exceeding SAR 491 million (USD 131 million). The announcement was made during the inaugural TOURISE Summit in Riyadh, reinforcing the Kingdom’s commitment to expanding its global tourism and entertainment footprint.
Located within Qiddiya City, the world’s first destination built around the Power of Play, the project covers 457,000 sqm and includes a world-class shooting sports venue designed to meet International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) standards. It will feature pistol, rifle, and shotgun ranges, offering facilities for both amateurs and professionals.
Backed by the Saudi Shooting Federation (SSF), the venue is equipped to host major global competitions such as the Asian Games, World Cups, Grand Prix, and Olympic-level events. The adjoining entertainment complex will offer family and corporate experiences including paintball, airsoft, virtual shooting, and laser tag.
The project is expected to create over 2,300 jobs and attract more than 400,000 visitors annually, boosting Saudi Arabia’s sports, culture, and tourism sectors as part of the broader Vision 2030 diversification plan.
EIF CEO Wahdan Suliman Alkadi confirmed that this project marks the beginning of a series of new developments designed to enhance the Kingdom’s events infrastructure. Additional projects across Saudi cities are expected early next year. Qiddiya Investment Company’s Chief Strategy Officer Muhannad AlDawood highlighted the project as a key addition to the growing ecosystem of elite sports facilities.
